1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nexus Home Shield (“Nexus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

Nexus Home Shield provides a home repair command center that helps homeowners compare repair costs, coordinate with contractors, check financing and rebate options, and store home documentation. Nexus is NOT a home warranty company. We do not insure, guarantee, or warranty any repair work performed by contractors. We provide information, coordination tools, and documentation storage.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

4. Cost Estimates & Data

Repair cost estimates, savings projections, and rebate eligibility information provided by Nexus are estimates based on available data and should not be construed as guarantees. Actual costs may vary. Always verify information with contractors and financial institutions directly.

5. Contractor Relationships

Nexus may connect you with third-party contractors. We vet contractors through our Shield Approved program, but we do not employ or directly supervise them. Any agreement for services is between you and the contractor. Nexus is not liable for the quality, timeliness, or cost of work performed by contractors.

6. Membership & Payments

Membership fees are billed according to the plan selected at signup. You may cancel at any time. Refund policies vary by membership tier and are detailed during checkout. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexus Home Shield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to repair costs, property damage, or financial losses.

8. Privacy

Your use of Nexus is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
